Urrrgh

Still furiously ill.

If you need something to look at while I hack up a lung, check out my new favorite website where they publish random crap people hear in NYC. http://www.overheardinnewyork.com/

Hooray.

Urrrgh. Cold remedies anyone?

Theraflu. Seriously, it's not just for flu anymore.

You can't beat the one-two punch of Dayquil and whiskey. Or Nyquil and more whiskey.

    Or just whiskey.

Hope you feel better, poor sick Plum!

Hi, Plum, I've been here before, but don't think I've commented because I had nothing clever to say. But this time, I can give advice: hot lemonade with honey, it doesn't tast GREAT, but it does seem to help. Another thing that I think has really helped me is an herbal tea made by Traditional Medicinals, called Gypsy Cold Care. Health food stores and such have it here (Maryland). I hope you feel better. I might try the song title thing, that intrigues me. Like you, I'm a little suspicious of memes. I don't like games with too many rules. Take care!

Awww, you folks are the sweetest. Thanks for stopping by to check on the sick lady.

Now I'm wondering, if I mixed all five: Theraflu, Nyquil, whiskey, lemon and honey, would it be the best of all worlds?

Worst case senario, my head would explode, which at this point would be a huge improvement.

BEN & JERRY'S. If that makes you too cold, then Ben & Jerry's with hot chocolate. It might not be a proven standby like Theraflu, but you'll feel better, guaranteed.

Whatever works, I hope it works soon. Feel better!

Kalki- Great (tasty) idea. Every year or so Ben & Jerry's creates a new ice cream flavor. Whiskey/Lemon/Theraflu is up to bat.

Holy Moses, what would you call a flavor like that?

    "Coo coo A-CHOO", maybe?
