buck, buck, buck....should I even ask? And unknown things of considerable radness...I think that is a gigantic sea sponge. Now why that would be there I have no idea, but it looks like you had a fun time and thats all that really matters.

Jeeze miss, yer pritty. I can't believe how good you look w/o makeup. If I ever posted like that people would think I'd up and drowned.

Nice pix. Love the hydrangea. My fav: Lace cap.

Weren't those fountains at Millenium Park great? The kids LOVE when the "faces spout out water" and the it pours off the top in a huge water-fall.

You just missed the Taste of Chiacago by a few days!! (it started last Friday I think) which is in the area of Buckingham Fountain. Lots of yummy food, some not so yummy (I tried to get my boyfriend to try the Cajun alligator but for some reason he wasn't too inclined to do so)

Did you have fun? What was your favorite attraction? :D I love living here *sighs dreamily*

Kilowatthour- Thanks for looking at 'em!

Susie- Nothing like sharing a good things among friends. That sounds Martha Stweart-y and I'm gonna stop now.

Annejelynn- I like all of them, except for the crab. He freaks me out. BAD.

Misfit- That's called fat. But thanks.

CK- Thanks for the sweet words. The big head is near the aquarium, and is called 'Olmec Head #9'. Thanks archaeologists. Real original.

Squirl- Thanks! Sorry I didn't get any of your furry tailed bretheren.

Lawbrizzle- Can I go on vacation with you? From my vacation? does that make sense?

Ladybug- Thanks Mrs. Bug! I think I need a weekend to catch up. Viva La Three Day Weekend. Ahhhh.

Holy Schmidt- Ever since I read a story about a dude in Alaska waking up to find a herd of 6 foot tall spider crabs scratching at his door, I've been crabby phobic. ::shudder::
Ery- I'll address the buck, buck, buck today. I'm still not sure what that thing was, it was in an old storefront in Wicker Park and was made out of thousands of little rolled pieces of paper. It was RAD.

Echrai- I love things too. Especially shiny ones. Maybe I was a magpie in a past life...

SFG- I missed all of you too. More than you know!

Laurenbove- Hydrangeas are my favorite too...well, tied with lycianthus. Also, I AM wearing make-up in that picture...Please come to my house and teach me how to use make-up for real. Anyone?

Browen- I went to the 'Taste of Chicago' but only as a walk through. I didn't think I could eat 17 tickets worth of stuff...My favorite Chicago thing is the Shedd Aquarium. If I could live there, it'd be great. I'd even do tricks for food. Mexican food.

Ern- Thanks! And speak for yourself, Queenie. Mexico pics top Chicago any day!

my favorite animals at Shedd were definately the dolphins :D using 17 tickets goes a lot quicker than you think, especially on the 100 degree weather and needing multiple 4-ticket drinks!

btw, i also love shiny objects. the giant jelly bean in Millenium Park was under cover while you were here right? next time you come here, that's a lot of shiny fun :D
